The Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail (SHWT) was founded in 2003 when 5 wineries located near the Susquehanna River and the Juniata River tributaries joined together to market their unique region of Pennsylvania. The Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail has since grown to include 15 wineries. As grape growers and wine makers, the SHWT benefits from the unique soil and climate of the region, while visitors reap the benefits of our toils by enjoying our variety of award-winning wines.
